Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of the senior-level Business Development Manager is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients, by:
Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the enterprise market segment.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and C-level decision-makers by ensuring customer outcomes are achieved.
Conducting market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
Preparing sales proposals and contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
Keeping records of sales interactions, revenue, invoices, etc.
Providing input into marketing and lead generation campaigns.
Adhering to any and all company policies and procedures.
Business Development Manager - Experience and Personal Attributes:
Business development sales experience in the NZ & Australian IT enterprise market.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Action-oriented and time management skills.
Friendly and outgoing, people person.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, the IT channel, and vendors.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, disciplined time management and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary range has been provided: Uncapped OTE including performance-based commission and bonus incentives.
