Our client, a reputable MSP based in New Zealand, is seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance their team and spearhead growth initiatives.
This role entails engaging with clients, comprehending their requirements, and proposing tailored solutions using a consultative sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities Foster and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, referral partners, and prospective clients.
Engage actively in networking and prospecting to identify new market opportunities, leveraging market insights to drive sales efforts.
Establish and maintain a resilient sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
Qualify and pursue new sales prospects, including creating proposals, responding to tenders, and effectively managing the entire sales process to successful closure.
Collaborate with the technical team to manage statements of work and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives.
Key Requirements Demonstrated track record of generating leads and successfully closing business opportunities.
Ability to cultivate and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, referral partners, and clients across private and public sectors.
Experience in managing statements of work and negotiating contracts in conjunction with technical teams.
Proficiency in building and maintaining a robust client pipeline.
Background in selling IT and telecommunications consulting services preferred.
