As we are in a period of rapid growth, Activata is on the hunt for a driven and forward-thinking (Field-Based) Business Development Manager based out of our Auckland Office for an immediate start.Our ideal candidate will have proven business development experience, excellent communication skills, and actively strive to build and advance strong relationships with existing and new customers.The Company: Activata is New Zealand's only kiwi-owned activation, payment, and display network. We help partners easily connect with consumers at the convenience store level and we are moving into a period of rapid expansion in the FMCG industry. Consumers enjoy our vast product offering which includes gift cards, digital currency, mobile SIMs, mobile top-up vouchers, phone cards, prepaid power, bill payment, and transport services.On top of this, we are expanding our reach to supply the wider retail market with Point of Sale and Eftpos equipment bundled with Credit Card processing.The Role: Based out of our Grafton office, you will be a field-based business development manager assigned to a territory around NZ which you will be required to nurture and grow. Regular training, 1-on-1 catchups with the National Sales Manager, and upskilling will be provided to the right candidate. A requirement of 80 prospects added to CRM on a monthly basis whilst targeting a monthly equipment sales value of $60,000.Key Position Responsibilities:Consistently develop and maintain great relationships with each retailer, ensuring they remain in contract and actively pursue retailers outside the Activata network.Effectively take ownership of growth in your territory and maximize the sales of all Activata products in your region.Compile lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources.Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities.Skills and Experience:Experience in effective business-to-business sales within a technical environment.Experience in selling POS and Eftpos preferred.Proven ability to achieve sales targets.A strong background in customer-focused and relationship-building sales approach.Experience in Route and/or the FMCG industry would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have experience in a sales role?How many years of B2B sales experience do you have?What's your expected annual base salary?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a business development manager? #J-18808-Ljbffr
