Your Role - to turanga This role will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities and developing them into revenue streams.
You will also be identifying and driving new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs.
Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing and future business needs.
Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision-making process and form long-term business partnerships.
Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through.
Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with wider sales team to ensure maximum growth.
Present innovative business solutions to potential clients through direct communication i.e.
face to face meetings, telephone calls and/or via email Ensure reporting is up to date and accurate (meetings, calls, opportunities etc) Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue.
Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
Accuracy of reporting and forecasting Your Skills - o pukenga You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence others in sound judgment and decision-making; have great interpersonal and communication skills; be a creative thinker; one who can be solutions and delivery focused, and above all have a great customer service ethos.
Additionally, you will have: Relevant qualification and/or experience working in a sales BD role.
Have good business acumen and comfortable dealing with business owners and senior managers.
Ability prospect, establish and build new customer relations.
The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and experienced Ensuring we do our part to preserve Aotearoa's environment, we are committed to stay on track with our carbon reduction goals for 2030.
