The Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client's team in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the international freight forwarding sector. This is a new business focused, sales oriented role Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence in Auckland and the surrounding regions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. Hunt out new business and build your portfolio whilst earning uncapped commission. About you Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field ideally within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Understanding of international freight forwarding, supply chain management, and logistics would be advantageous. Energetic and passionate about sales and hunting out new business. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for driving growth.
