Our goal is to be the go-to name for water filtration products across New Zealand. We are looking for a results driven Business Development Manager to be the driving force in targeting new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and exceeding sales targets. You will be a natural sales hunter who thrives on building strong relationships and turning leads into sales. This is an Auckland based role with a national client base so will involve travel to meet new clients. What you'll do: Work alongside the Directors in agreeing business goals, KPI's and sales metrics Develop a strategy to achieve growth target Research and map your market Prospect for new clients through cold calls, emails, social media and your network Leverage existing clients with regular meetings About you: 5 years B2B sales experience ideally within the water filtration, plumbing merchant or building products sector A natural sales hunter, who enjoys the thrill of the chase and especially likes closing deals Not afraid to pick up the phone to cold call clients and generate leads Autonomous. Goal orientated. Self-starter. Proven history of growing business by exceeding targets A good bugger. Someone who walks the walk.
