Job Description As Business Development Manager - Corporate & Government, you will drive sales acquisition and retention within business-to-business segments, specifically focusing on government and corporate accounts, for Accor's Economy, Midscale, and Premium hotels in Wellington. The role is crucial in achieving financial objectives through research, analysis, and strategic planning, including forecasting, account management, and competitor assessments. You will be responsible for managing proactive and reactive sales calls, leading corporate RFP cycles, and developing tailored strategies for key government and corporate accounts. Additionally, you'll build strong client relationships, manage stakeholder engagements, and actively represent the hotels in sales activities and trade shows, ensuring commercial success within the government and corporate sectors. Drive sales acquisition and retention for business-to-business segments, with a focus on government and corporate accounts across Economy, Midscale, and Premium hotels in Wellington. Conduct research and analysis, including forecasting, account management, and identifying key demand drivers to maximize hotel performance in the government and corporate sectors. Manage proactive and reactive sales calls, corporate RFP cycles, CRM accountability and maintain accurate hotel profiles in E-RFP tools to increase conversions. Build and maintain strong relationships with government and corporate accounts, intermediaries, and partners, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and support. Represent Accor at trade shows and sales activities, actively promoting Accor Live Limitless and creating opportunities for client engagement within the government and corporate sectors. Qualifications 3 years+ of hotel industry experience in a Sales environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Opera (or similar systems), and CRMs like Salesforce, with strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; a team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
