We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Auckland.
Role Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our commercial cleaning client base.
This role involves a hybrid working model, with a combination of office, remote, and on-site client meetings across the Auckland region.
Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within the commercial sector, focusing on securing long-term cleaning contracts.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored cleaning solutions.Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and company sales targets.
Regularly review and adjust strategies to stay competitive in the market.Site Visits and Proposals: Conduct site visits to evaluate client needs, prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations based on their specific requirements.Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, marketing, and account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and enhance sales approaches.Reporting and KPI Management: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and activities, ensuring alignment with monthly and quarterly KPIs and sales targets.Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote Premium Clean and develop new business connections.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or in a similar role, preferably in the commercial cleaning or facility management industry.Strong understanding of the commercial cleaning sector and related services.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Auckland region.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the cleaning or facility management industry is highly advantageous.A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
