You will have the opportunity to engage in ongoing business development, to secure new business with some of the world's largest retailers. Together with our Commercial and Licensing Team, you will become the expert in finding missed business opportunity, then building compelling arguments to try and win the business.Core Roles and ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentTrack the brand sales by region & market, understand what index brand sales should be at and determine what brands are falling behind.Compare Item vs Item sales by market to find where certain items have low sales vs the other like for like items.Find new accounts ZURU has not yet partnered with globally and support the sales team to make strong arguments to win the new business.Owning the ZURU Customisation file, when a new item is added ensure we push this to the entire global team to maximise the production run of this item and drive sales.Helping make strong arguments to reduce the amount of private label items we create - work with local team make strong arguments on why PL does not make sense for the customer.Create a KPI file which keeps global and local teams accountable for the touch points we have with customers. Make a tracking system so this is measurable.Supporting Commercial team on projects to improve efficiencies, develop existing areas or create new ways of working.ReportingMaintain 'Hit list' of Commercial Gaps and Licensing outreach so it is clear what opportunities we have capitalized on and what the status is.Maintain a licensing Entertainment file capturing all activity currently happening and the 2–3-year pipeline.Skills and Experience RequiredBachelor's degree in business, marketing, law, or a related field.Previous work experience is preferred.Excel and PowerPoint skills.Data understanding to create insights.Strong verbal and written communication using persuasion.Cold calling/previous customer-facing experience is preferred.Hardworking, good team player, willing to learn, and well-organized.Excellent interpersonal skills.LIFE@ZURUAt ZURU, we have cultivated a high-performing culture that encourages excellence.
