Mo te turanga - About the role As a Senior Manager in our Business and Agri function, you'll join the Wellington leadership team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the financial wellbeing of ANZ's customers across a range of Small Business and Commercial portfolios. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and coaching to a team of Relationship Associates and Relationship Managers to build and strengthen ANZ's market presence across the region. Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like As a Senior Manager, you will: Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to a team of Relationship Associates and Managers across the Small Business and Commercial segments. Be a critical member of the Business & Agri leadership team and leverage your strong finance and commercial background to support the delivery of regional strategy. Promote and lead ANZ in the local and regional marketplace via events, community initiatives and customer interactions. Embed a strong conduct and risk culture across the business. Champion the use of data and insights to build knowledge and capability and enable better customer outcomes. Build a framework for consistent approaches to areas in staff training, operating models, management of credit and adoption of change. Continuously look to build new relationships aligned to business strategy and ensure existing customer needs are understood and met. Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: A successful track record in customer relationship management, risk management and an ability to influence outcomes. Deep finance and credit knowledge, and experience managing and workshopping complex deals. Well-developed leadership ability, with proven experience in achieving results through collaboration. Proven experience in providing direction, training, development, coaching, motivation to a team of talented individuals. An ability to problem solve in a complex environment while managing ambiguity and conflicting demands. Exceptional stakeholder management experience and an ability to engage and influence at senior levels. Sound understanding using technology to take a structured approach in setting up systems and processes to effectively manage and monitor against metrics. Previous experience working across both Commercial and Small Business banking segments is highly desired. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
