Working here, you'll be valued for the contribution you make and the part you play in empowering New Zealand's sustainable future.About the role:As a Business Analyst you will lead the articulation of needs, context, and rationale for IT-based change, and accurately describe the work needed to deliver business value.Key responsibilities:Provide analysis and accurate description of work using multiple concepts (value, context, change, need, solution, and stakeholders) to enable balanced decision-making that considers both immediate and long-term needsFacilitate breakdown of prioritised change into logical and achievable parts, and accurately describe work at the level of detail and context needed for the various stakeholders - from initiative/feature to information needed for deliveryFacilitate shared understanding of expected value and customer experience, factors constraining the delivery of expectations, and the impacts of potential changes on people, process, and technologyContribute to delivery success through provision of business analysis expertise while demonstrating a 'what else can I help with' attitude, and assisting with improving delivery team processesAbout you:Undergraduate qualification in a business or commercial disciplineMinimum 4 years' experience in a Business Analyst role in a sizable commercial environmentExperience of delivering business analysis in both traditional and Agile delivery environmentsEffective stakeholder management and communication (verbal and written) skillsDemonstrated experience in a corporate or commercial environmentOur culture:At our heart, we're a people company.
