Farrelly Calf Rearing Business is a successful family-owned calf rearing business, it has been operating for over 30 years and has grown to be the largest calf rearing business in New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced administration person who thrives on ownership of their role, enjoys improving and implementing systems and processes and has strong attention to detail. You will be able to quickly develop strong business relationships, with staff and clients, enjoy variety in your day, with the skill to multitask efficiently and fit well into a farm environment as part of our close-knit team.
Key responsibilities include:
Review and streamline our business systems and processes to make them more efficient for a business on a strong growth trajectory. Take responsibility for managing key business projects.Take ownership of the day-to-day administration function.Review our customer database to identify areas for opportunity and growth.Perform office administration tasks, this will include annual farm budgeting, stock reconciliation and finance processes.About You:
Proven administration and accounts experience.Proficiency with office systems and processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business relationshipsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding of a farm environment and the New Zealand dairy landscape.Self stater with enthusiasm and enjoys the challenge of adding value.New Zealand residency is required for this role.Ideally, we would be looking for someone to work full time, however, some flexibility can be negotiated for the right person.
