If you're after a lifestyle of surfing, hiking, and mountain biking, Dunedin has it, or if you're after amazing wildlife and dramatic landscapes, Dunedin has that also.We are looking for a Radiologist with breast imaging subspecialty focus to join our Pacific Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in breast imaging. Capability should include experience in all forms of breast imaging including diagnostic and screening mammography and tomosynthesis, radiologist performed breast ultrasound and breast MRI. In addition, you will have multimodality breast intervention skills including ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy hook wire localisation and vacuum assisted biopsy.Ideally, the candidate will be currently accredited to work within BreastScreen Aotearoa, New Zealand's national breast screening programme; training will be provided if required.The role also involves multimodality general radiology reporting. You will be based in Dunedin with some occasional travel to our imaging sites throughout the Otago and Southland region.The successful candidate will provide high quality, patient-focused radiology services. As well as exceptional clinical skills, you will be a good communicator and team player. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including radiologists, radiology registrars, MITs, breast nurses, and surgeons.
