Brand and Communications Manager - Manaaki WhenuaManaaki Whenua is New Zealand's Crown Research Institute (CRI) for our land and environment. We are responsible for supporting New Zealand to develop a sustainable relationship with our land, through the delivery of exceptional science across a wide range of disciplines.As the Brand and Communications Manager, you play a pivotal role in enhancing our visibility and reputation in the market. Working with our science leaders, you will develop targeted marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to connect our stakeholders to our areas of expertise. As a proven leader you will be able to demonstrate your experience in leading and developing high performing teams, as well as successful collaborations with senior management and diverse stakeholders, including Maori communities.This is a full-time position based at our Lincoln site, reporting directly to the General Manager of Development.You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally at the postgraduate level, complemented by significant job-based training and experience. With over 10 years in senior marketing roles, you will demonstrate a strong track record in developing and delivering effective B2B marketing and communications strategies. Ideally, you will possess an understanding of the role that science and innovation plays in lifting environmental, social and economic outcomes, and can articulate a value proposition that will resonate with our partners and stakeholders to drive shared benefits.
