Branch Supervisor - Wairau Park

As the Branch Supervisor, you'll work closely with our tight-knit branch team and run the daily operations of the branch. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing all areas of the branch, from inwards goods to the Trade Counter.Providing support and leadership to our branch team.Providing exceptional service to our customers, including tradespeople, businesses, and homeowners.Managing key accounts and quoting orders.Supporting inventory management, inwards goods, and deliveries.Ensuring products are organized and ready for delivery.Assisting with administration and additional duties as needed.This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.We plan to have the preferred candidate starting in this new role at the beginning of the new year (2025).About You:To excel in this role, you should be an organized and reliable team leader with a customer-focused and outgoing attitude. You'll need:Proven experience in face-to-face customer service and ideally a background in the Trade industry.A collaborative leadership style to foster a strong customer service culture.Experience or exposure in people leadership.Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and the team.Motivation and the ability to work proactively, independently, and under pressure.Confidence with computers and learning new systems.Physical fitness for manual handling and heavy lifting.A full New Zealand driver's license.Join Us:We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
