Stratco is a privately owned Australasian innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of quality building and home improvement products.
With manufacturing facilities and professional trade representation throughout Australia and New Zealand, Stratco has supplied a comprehensive range of products to the building and construction industries and home improvement markets for over 75 years.
Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a high calibre individual to manage our busy Napier branch.
Engaging customers, staff and contractors with your charismatic style, you'll be well thought of as an approachable leader and someone who exceeds expectations.
Your remit will entail the oversight of roofing, patio, fencing and associated products, ensuring effective administrative and financial oversight of branch operations, and spearheading the branch to grow sales and market share, nurturing existing relationships and promoting Stratco's extensive range of products.
Ultimately, you will be given autonomy and support to manage a key business unit as part of Stratco's NZ operations.
About you
Proven ability to build strong relationships and lead the team by making strategic decisions using your strong commercial acumen.
An understanding of the building products sector would be advantageous, along with knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, customer service and sales.
Demonstrable experience in a similar branch/business unit management capacity.
Your team will turn to you for both support and inspiration, presenting you with the chance to shape outcomes while also diving in to help when extra hands are needed.
You'll bring to the table strong analytical/operational skills, and an understanding of business drivers including P&L performance.
