An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Hastings branch as the Branch Manager.
The successful candidate would ideally have a strong knowledge of and expertise in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, though this is not essential.
Qualifications & Experience
A high standard of oral and written communication skills.
Precision, accuracy, and attention to detail, adopting a high degree of initiative and a proactive 'can-do' approach to unexpected situations and changing demands and schedules, and perform effectively under pressure while demonstrating confidence to all staff members.
A strong knowledge of and expertise in refrigeration and air conditioning industry, and a high level of business acumen as applicable to the position's area of responsibility.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsible for the general administration of all activities in the branch including budget forecasts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the timely flow of paperwork to head office.
Support to the sales and manufacturing staff including pro-active contact with customers where necessary by phone and visits.
Endeavoring to expand the business and client base.
Monitoring and reporting on stock levels and general trends in business operation including profit, expenses, and customer analysis.
Provide reports as required from time to time.
Achieve budget and performance targets as required.
