Portage Cars Ltd is one of NZ's leading used vehicle dealer groups, with over 600 vehicles available for sale at 8 branches NZ Wide. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join our team.
You'll have a proven automotive management background, with a results-driven track record and the character to nurture a winning culture. A strong focus on customer service, combined with the drive to deliver on profitability and sales, as well as the ability to upskill and manage a sales team, will be important for success in this role.
This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires someone that is willing to roll their sleeves up and enjoy the success that working smart and hard will bring. Customer satisfaction at Portage Cars is a priority, so the ability to understand our customers and their needs is paramount. To succeed in this role you'll have: A strong background in the automotive industry (with particular focus on sales and sales management). The ability to make things happen in a fast-paced retail environment. An entrepreneurial spirit - be capable of growing a business by utilising your skills and those of the team you lead. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and inspire those around you. The ability to contribute to a progressive and successful group culture. Strong numerical skills and an understanding of business finances.
