General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Branch Manager to lead our large Christchurch branch. This pivotal role will see you responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch as well as taking a lead role in growing business relationships and driving sales. Ideally, you will have at least 3-5 years Plumbing industry experience and have established Plumbing industry connections. Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom Centre remains a privately owned New Zealand company with over 50 years' experience in the New Zealand market. We have 23 branches and counting nationwide. Our growth has been the result of excellent plumbing supplies backed by our service and commitment to our large customer base of plumbers, drainlayers, gasfitters, builders, homemakers, and renovators. First and foremost, we are looking for a hands-on, grounded leader with experience leading and managing people. We are looking for someone with a great sense of humour and a natural relationship builder able to develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and the team. You will be well organised and strong in decision making and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This pivotal role will see you responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch. To hit the ground running, you will need to have strong commercial acumen.
