BBS Timbers are well known for their extensive range of quality timber and plywood. The head office is based in Whangarei, and we have important distribution premises in Auckland and Christchurch.We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to lead and grow our Auckland operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with proven sales and leadership experience in the timber, building or construction industry. The individual will need to be motivated and able to work autonomously and in a team environment. You will be responsible for driving the success of the Auckland team with exciting growth planned for the future.Key Responsibilities:Lead the Auckland branch's daily operations ensuring sales, customer service, logistics and office administration runs smoothly.Drive sales growth, implement and oversee customer call plans and execute marketing strategies as required.Manage and mentor staff including completing performance reviews against KPI's and company values and drive culture.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.Manage stock levels between head office and the Auckland branch to meet customer demands.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.Key Requirements:Experience in the timber industry (or related industry).Business acumen and proven sales track record.Experience in people leadership.Strong communication skills and computer literacy.What we offer:A long-term career opportunity with a long-established successful business and experienced team.Autonomy to drive culture and growth.A competitive salary commensurate with experience.A fully maintained company vehicle.A company cell phone.This role is for a 5-day week.
