About the role
This key role reports to the Branch Manager and works closely with all on-site team members as well as the wider Trents Sales and Distribution teams across the South Island.
The key focus of the varied and interesting role is to provide support with customer enquiries, administration and compliance matters including Health & Safety and Food Safety, and on-site recruitment and people activities including induction, training and payroll administration.
About you
You will have administration, accounts and customer service experience and you have a reputation as a clear communicator who is able to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
You have a good working knowledge of operational Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements although ongoing training will be made available.
You are flexible in your approach to problems and can quickly adapt to changing customer and team needs, with the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions.
You are known for your high level of accuracy and attention to detail and excellent time management and work prioritisation skills.
You also have experience with handling confidential and sensitive information.
Knowledge of WMS and SAP systems and the Food Service industry would be an advantage.
