About the role
As a Branch Accountant at Carters, you will play a pivotal part in providing accounting services for Carters branches across the nation ensuring a robust and detailed analysis of each branch's performance. The demands of the job are broad and varied based on-site at our National Support Office in East Tamaki.
Monthly processing, GL reconciliations, reporting, and facilitation of annual budgetsProviding your expert accounting information and advice to Area and Branch ManagersAssist with financial reporting providing detailed financial analysis of aspects of the business on a regular basis.Provide innovative thinking and be pro-active in developing solutions across the finance team.Ad hoc supportAbout you
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to outstanding service and support and have the following skills and qualities:
Financial accounting experience within a commercial sectorRobust analytical skills with the ability to multitask - discretion is key as you will be dealing with sensitive information.High attention to detail and accuracy.Technical knowledge is key - computer literate with advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.Building industry knowledge is advantageous.Proven experience in a similar role is ideal.Desirable - Business degree in Accounting/CommerceBenefits to Building your Career with Carters Security and work-life balance.
