Dailyfood  in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain our financial records. Qualifications: Bachloar Qualification of Accounting in New Zealand is a must In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Key Responsibilities: Financial Records Management: Maintain and balance accounts using both manual and computerized systems. Cash Flow Monitoring: Oversee cash flow and manage lines of credit. Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce financial statements, budget and expenditure reports, and analyses using accounting software packages. Invoice and Order Processing: Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and bank deposits. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts against monthly bank statements. Transaction Verification: Verify recorded transactions and report any irregularities to management. Tax Reporting: Prepare forms reporting business tax entitlements and obligations, including GST paid and collected. Skills and Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in accounting software packages Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports Strong communication skills to liaise with management and external parties Why Join Us?
