Bookkeeper

Employment type : full-time, permanent Hours per week : at least 30 hours per week Number of vacancies : 1 Job description: Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger Bring the books to the trial balance stage Perform partial checks of the posting process Complete tax forms Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner Prepare and process invoices, bills, and account statements, ensuring timely payments and collections. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies if required. Job pre-requisites: Bachelor degree or above qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or any relevant qualification Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
