Responsibilities Process and analyze daily commission statements from multiple insurance providersMonitor and manage commission clawbacks, ensuring accurate financial recordsItemize commission statements for GST and tax complianceAllocate commissions to specific advisors and prepare detailed breakdownsArrange payments for approval by the business ownerConduct regular cash flow forecasting to support business planningManage payroll for the entire company, including advisors and support staffSet up daily payments and distribute commission breakdowns to advisorsUtilize Google Workspace for efficient data tracking and team collaborationAssist with invoicing tasks for staff expensesContribute to the optimization of financial processes as the company growsRequirementsStrong understanding of New Zealand GST and tax regulationsExperience handling complex commission structures in the insurance or financial services sectorExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculationsAdvanced skills in Google Workspace, particularly Google SheetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environmentAdaptability to work with a growing business and evolving financial needsCommitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to data security protocolsWillingness to learn and grow with the company, potentially taking on additional responsibilitiesIMPORTANT!!For accounting-related, data/reports analysis jobs, please complete the EXCEL TEST as well:
