Details of the offer

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Bookkeeper to manage the company's financial records and transactions.
The successful candidate will ensure that the company's finances are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The Bookkeeper will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Financial Manager.
  Key Responsibilities:   Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are addressed.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Process payroll and ensure timely payment of staff salaries.
Manage and file tax returns, including VAT and GST.
Assist in preparing financial statements for audits.
Monitor company budgets and report any financial irregularities.
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Liaise with external auditors and accountants as necessary.
    Qualifications:   NZQF Level 4 qualification or above, or at least two years of relevant experience.  High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
On the job training may be required.
