We are looking for a senior bookkeeper to join us in Auckland!Key Responsibilities:Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees and compliance with tax regulations.Software Management: Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to financial practices.Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.Assisting in all other accounting works that may be required by the employer from time to time.Requirements:Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, business or related field preferred.Experience: If no relevant qualifications above, at least three years of relevant experience is required.Skills and attributes:Proficiency in accounting software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.If this sounds like you, please click Apply Now!Job Salary: $23-24 / hourEmployer Questions:Do you have unlimited work rights in New Zealand?Are you a NZ citizen or resident?Are you currently in NZ?How many years of bookkeeping experience do you have?How many hours can you work per week?What is your expected hourly rate?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
