BREMCA Automation Limited, a leading supplier and integrator of building automation solutions and services, is looking for a new BMS Controls Engineer to join our Christchurch team.We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects across a wide range of installations. However, we would also be interested in hearing from candidates with suitable experience as an E4M Electrician or Controls Technician in the same field who want to further their career by training to become an engineer specializing in the delivery of Building Management Systems.With an exciting and diverse workload ahead of us, we are looking for our new engineer to hit the ground running - working closely with the wider building services team to help deliver on both current contracts as well as begin the early planning phase on pending projects starting late 2024.The ideal candidate will need to prove relevant experience in Building Management Systems - experience with Niagara N4 is highly desirable along with a background in the use of Tridium, Trend, or Cylon, which is preferred but not essential as additional training and support will be provided.Confidence in managing relationships across a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders including engineers, sub-contractors, clients, consultants, and suppliers is a must.Key requirements for this role include:Experience in engineering and delivering Building Management SystemsExcellent communication and organisational skillsBe self-motivating and have the ability to work independently where neededProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office productsTechnically interpret project requirements and offer automation solutions that influence and deliver better outcomes that add value for our clientsA willingness to get out of the office and engage clients at their premisesIn conjunction with the businesses' internal engineering resource, complete documentation, functional descriptions, drawings, graphics, programming, commissioning, fault finding, and servicing for building management systemsA strong interest in learning, continuous improvement, and innovationSeeking the best candidates, a competitive remuneration package including a vehicle and health insurance will be offered based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.If you believe you have the above-mentioned skills and know you can make a significant contribution to the company, we would like to hear from you.
