Are you an innovative and dynamic leader with a passion for Early Childhood Education?Do you have a proven track record of managing multiple centres - driving a superior customer experience, operational efficiencies and financial performance in the early childcare sector?If so, we want you to join our Southern BestStart whanau as an Area Manager!About BestStartHere at BestStart, we are committed to offering a quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where we grow caring people with curious minds.Our vision is to work together with families and communities to help children so that they can be the leaders of tomorrow.Key Responsibilities:Working collaboratively in a team of twelve Southern Regional Leaders overseeing the day-to-day operations of nine early childhood centres within your designated area.Provide leadership and guidance to Centre Managers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and education.Develop and implement strategies to improve enrolment, retention, and overall centre performance.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting professional development and staff well-being.Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.Build strong relationships with families, community stakeholders, and external partners.Actively promote and role model health & safety awareness; complete health & safety training as required.Identify, report and escalate risks, health, safety and environmental hazards within the workplace and take appropriate action.Understand and meet any legally binding health & safety regulations relevant to the workplace.What We're Looking For:Experience: Must hold an ECE qualification and have a minimum of 3-5 years in a management role within the Early Childhood Education sector, with experience overseeing multiple sites.Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on achieving excellence in service delivery.Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.Adaptability /Flexibility: Have a growth mindset and be a confident change agent.Passion: A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families.Why Join Us?Our BestStart Benefits include:Learning through Whare Ako our online learning platform.Supportive coaching and mentoring for your role.Want to learn something new?
