We provide high-quality commercial ducting, hood & filter cleaning services across 6 branches in New Zealand.We're looking for a BDM for Waikato/BOP regions, someone who will primarily seek out new customers, leads, and quotes.The BDM is responsible for driving the sales (revenue) of the area to extraordinary levels in line with the strategy of the company and maintaining GM to target level. You will build a sustainable pipeline of new and repeat business and help to deliver rapid revenue growth in the Waikato/BOP area.This is a full-time permanent role, operating with autonomy and flexibility. We have recently moved to a new premises in Poike, Tauranga with plenty of office space for when you need it.Candidate DescriptionOur ideal candidate is an independent natural salesperson, a hunter who is self-motivated with great time management skills. You need to:Have the skills to measure and quote a job accurately.Be able to demonstrate your amazing ability to foster relationships.Be trustworthy and reliable - this is a role with a lot of autonomy and success is measured on results rather than through micro management.You Will:Be proactive in generating new sales and identifying new opportunities.Generate new accounts and close sales opportunities using your negotiation skills.Continuously build your pipeline of business opportunities and provide weekly updates.Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects, sufficient to meet monthly objectives.Identify and qualify prospects.Use SIMPRO (training provided) to provide accurate quotes and booking information to customers and booking coordinators.You have:Sales experience is a must (hospo, telco's, B2B are a good fit) and established networks within the sales area would be a bonus.A 'sales hunter' approach to doing business, not afraid to call and negotiate - this role will evolve into some account management as well.A professional, approachable, determined manner.An ability to determine the key decision-makers in a business.Must have legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.An ability to occasionally work at heights and pass a site safe passport, as this will be required for some quotes.Experience using SIMPRO or another job management software would be well regarded but isn't necessary.Role includes a company car or car allowance.
