BAS Manager - Chartered Accountant Contractor (100% Work From Home) Beany was founded over 10 years ago with a mission to change the accounting game, by putting care for our clients and work-life balance for our team first. Our accounting team uses their technical expertise and excellent customer service to help our clients focus on what they do best - running their business - while we take care of the numbers. We've developed our own software to streamline admin for our accountants, freeing them up to focus on the important stuff. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to join our fully remote team. You'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the support of a team that knows how to communicate and collaborate effectively. Responsibilities Review financial statements, GST, and tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Provide exceptional service to a wide range of clients, including proactive communication, understanding their issues, and providing support and advice. Providing general accounting, taxation, and business advice to small business clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Requirements CA qualification as well as significant practice experience. A progressive attitude and a strong desire to provide a high level of service to clients. Demonstrated skills to manage the end-to-end accounting process in a dynamic environment, while coping with a variety of competing priorities. Proven small business accounting practice experience. Excellent confidence and communication skills - we talk to our clients daily via phone and video. Client-first focus and relationship-driven. Sound understanding of SME accounting software packages, particularly Xero. Understanding of XPM practice software advantageous.
