The firm is well established and has a sizeable and loyal client base and recently entered an exciting new stage of its development.The practice makes good use of technology and takes pride in the quality of their internal systems and work papers.
Over the years we have placed many professionals at various levels within their team.The firm is conveniently located in a prime Auckland CBD location, close to public transport, cafes, shops and other amenities.About the roleDue to sustained growth, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a strong intermediate to senior business services accountant to join the firm.
This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate will work with a wide range of SME clients, assisting the partners in the firm with some of the most complex assignments and managing the workflow for a group of key entities.Some of the key responsibilities defining this role will include but are not limited to:Preparation of year-end financial statementsPeriodic tax complianceCommunicating complex accounting, business, and tax information to clientsDevelop and apply commercial understanding of businesses and key performance indicatorsTrain and advise clients on accounting software packagesVarious ad hoc duties and responsibilitiesAbout youWe are looking for an articulate business services accountant with client-facing experience.
