My client is a leading consultancy firm in North Canterbury and is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of client businesses, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business processes, and develop strategic solutions.
Lead the design and implementation of business strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Provide expert guidance and advisory services to clients on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Proven experience as a public practice accountant with a minimum of 2 years including substantial exposure to compliance and advisory work.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations in compliance and advisory contexts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including providing clear and concise compliance guidance and advisory support.
Experience in consulting or advisory roles with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
