Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive financial services to their clients, including but not limited to:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, supplementary tax e.g. FBT, GST etc., and other IRD formsReviewing annual financial statements Assisting Directors in the management of staff and internal systemsMeeting and communicating with clients on regular and irregular matters as requiredRequirements: Relevant tertiary qualification that meets current CA ANZ requirementsExperience in Xero Practice Manager & XeroBe comfortable interacting with clients Pro-active in systems and identifying opportunities for improvementIn depth knowledge of accounts, financial statements and tax legislationAbility to manage staff, multiple tasks and meet deadlinesLivestock reporting experience preferable but not requiredCertificate of Public Practice preferable but not requiredBenefits: Competitive salaryHealth insuranceRetirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environment
