Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive financial services to their clients, including but not limited to:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, supplementary tax e.g. FBT, GST etc., and other IRD forms
Reviewing annual financial statements
Assisting Directors in the management of staff and internal systems
Meeting and communicating with clients on regular and irregular matters as required
Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification that meets current CA ANZ requirements
Be comfortable interacting with clients
Pro-active in systems and identifying opportunities for improvement
In depth knowledge of accounts, financial statements and tax legislation
Livestock reporting experience is preferable but not required
Certificate of Public Practice preferable but not required
