You also have Augusta National right in the bar if you're a golf lover.Position TitleBOH StaffObjective of PositionTo assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and to coordinate particular sections of production.Report ToHead Chef / Executive Chef / Sous ChefRelationship WithHead Chef, Kitchen Staff and Wait StaffDuties and ResponsibilitiesBe familiar with daily and ongoing menus, functions, specials etc.Offer ideas for new dishes and, when invited, submit new menu items.Ensure individual section and responsibilities are ready to meet daily, function and special requirements.Execute the quality and standards of the Bar, Kitchen and Golf Simulators to the standard The Bunker Directors set.Ensure the necessary stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity.Ensure each component of a dish prepared is up to standard, properly cooked and delivered on time.Follow recipes and instructions carefully.Clean preparation and service areas daily.Clean other areas as required.Be familiar with and follow the Food Control Plan.Ensure ongoing support of standards such that subordinate staff perform their duties correctly.Inform Head/Sous Chef of any shortfalls in stock or ordering needed for the next day.Prepare and cook raw materials to the required standard.Prepare and cook appropriate amounts of stock to meet demand but avoid waste.Treat all staff fairly and with courtesy.Ensure all statutory, as well as establishment, hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.Ensure all maintenance problems are promptly reported to Head or Sous Chef.Any other duties the employer may reasonably require.Personal AttributesHonest and reliableGreat interpersonal skillsLeadership skillsProactiveObserves a high standard of personal hygieneAble to work as part of a teamLimit of AuthorityNo authority to purchase or discipline.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $23.15 – $27.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 – 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftExperience:Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)Expected Start Date: 03/09/2024 #J-18808-Ljbffr
