Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism)Full timeWe are a busy bar in the heart of Commercial Bay, open from midday 7 days, providing a great experience for corporate customers during the day and a younger, more energetic clientele after work and on weekends.You will need to have at least one year's experience leading a bar team and be able to build meaningful relationships with customers. The bar manager needs to be capable and competent to manage a large team to dispense a high volume of drinks in a short period. You should be able to keep a cool head during busy service and lead the team to deliver a high level of customer service. Previous experience is essential as you will be leading and training a team of bar staff to provide service at a high level. Experience in dealing with corporates in the CBD is also helpful as our day trade is primarily corporates. You will be required to manage both the day and late-night teams and work till close on Friday and Saturday nights.You will also be responsible for training and developing our late-night bar team, who work at a fast pace and dispense a large number of drinks over a short period.You must be a competent communicator with a friendly disposition and demonstrated experience in managing a floor team.Requirements:You must be a resident of NZ or have a current work permit.
