The Bar Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the bar's success and contributing to the overall dining experience at the restaurant.
To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Bar Manager to join our team.
It requires a dynamic and driven individual who can lead a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of service and quality.
We are expecting someone who has a passion for work, attention to details, ability to multi-task, and be a proactive member of the team.
Ideal candidates should have a NZQF level 5 qualification in any field OR 3 years of Managerial Work Experience.
Must have LCQ license.
You are required to: Maintain inventory of liquor, supplies, and equipment.
Develop and update drink and food menus in coordination with the restaurant's theme and customer preferences.
Determine and schedule employee shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for operational needs.
Ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean, and complies with health and safety regulations.
Track customer behavior and sales to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Manage budget and monitor costs to optimize profitability.
Maintain documentation of drink recipes and standard operating procedures.
Oversee planning and execution of special events and promotions.
Delegate tasks to staff and ensure effective coordination among team members.
Select and purchase liquor and other supplies while maintaining vendor relationships.
Supervise and train bar staff, including bartenders, baristas, café workers, and other relevant personnel.
Utilize point-of-sale tracking technology and bar management platforms to streamline operations.
