Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism) The Court Theatre has been creating and sharing live theatre with audiences from across Otautahi and Waitaha for more than 53 years and we are New Zealand's largest theatre company. Our Foyer contains a licensed bar, a coffee bar, and a pizza bar – the area welcomes our patrons before each show and encourages them to make a night out of going to the Theatre! Coming up to our busy summer season, we are looking for an additional Duty Manager with their current DM Licence to join our team for a fixed term period from mid-November until the end of January. This role would be guaranteed 2 shifts per week (minimum 10hrs) with the possibility of more at times. As an added bonus, we have a 2-week Christmas shutdown so you can still enjoy your summer holidays. There is also the possibility of ongoing casual work at the completion of this fixed-term contract. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the bar is prepared and ready to open, service runs smoothly, our patrons have a fantastic experience, and all regulations are followed. You will run the shift and ensure the team is doing what's required for great service. It's essential you have a current duty manager's licence, love working behind the bar, and providing a great experience for customers. As our performances are mostly in the evenings, you must be available to work evenings (generally we don't have performances on Sundays and Mondays, and we endeavour to work around your other commitments).
