Beckenham Park Care Home , located in Beckenham , is currently recruiting for a creative, dedicated, and enthusiastic team player to join us as Commis Chef. As Commis Chef, you will help serve meals and clear dishes at residents' tables, prepare, wash, and store dishes, as well as keeping the kitchen clean.
The Key Responsibilities Of Our Commis Chef Include:
Assist Chefs in cleaning food serving areas and equipment, including deep cleaning on a regular basis.
Assist chef with food preparation.
Assist with kitchen service at mealtimes.
Work as part of the Food Service Team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all residents, family, visitors, and colleagues.

Senior Chef Apprenticeship in Production Cooking: As a Senior Chef Apprentice in Production Cooking, you will manage a team to produce standardised dishes and menus within your care home kitchen. You will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including producing, monitoring, and maintaining consistent food standards.
These apprenticeships will allow you to hone your skills, increase your knowledge, and take on additional responsibilities, all whilst working in your Avery care home.
