We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Architect to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Azure services and architecture, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Event Grid.
As an Azure Integration Architect, you will lead the design and development of cloud-based integration solutions for clients across multiple industries, ensuring the seamless connection of systems and data sources.
You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to create robust integration architectures that align with business requirements, while leveraging best practices in cloud integration, security, and DevOps.
This role will also include leading migration projects, transitioning legacy systems to modern Azure-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities: Integration Architecture Design: Design and develop complex Azure integration architectures using Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud integration solutions that connect diverse applications and systems.
Define integration standards, best practices, and reusable patterns that enhance performance and reliability.
Solution Development: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of integration solutions using Azure services.
Write high-quality, scalable code in C# .Net (or Java) and design robust APIs and microservices architecture.
Oversee the creation of proof of concepts (PoC) and deliver architecture documentation and diagrams.
Client Engagement and Consultancy: Engage with clients to understand business requirements and provide expert guidance on integration strategies.
Lead client-facing meetings to discuss architectural choices and project timelines, ensuring all stakeholders understand the technical solution.
Ensure timely communication of project status and work closely with clients during UAT and post-deployment support.
Cloud Migration and Legacy System Integration: Architect and lead the migration of legacy systems (e.g., Oracle) to Azure, modernizing integration patterns and processes.
Define a migration strategy, including data migration, process standardization, and system interdependencies.
DevOps and Continuous Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab for deployment automation.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance processes across testing, staging, and production environments.
Security and Compliance: Ensure integration solutions adhere to security best practices, particularly in API management, authentication, and data protection.
Design and implement role-based access control (RBAC) and secure API gateways for external integrations.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of developers, providing technical guidance and fostering skill development.
Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure project deliverables align with both technical and business objectives.
Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience working with Azure services, particularly Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions on Azure.
Hands-on experience in C# .Net (or Java), with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly transitioning legacy systems to Azure.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory).
Proficiency in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud integration solutions.
Experience with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex integration challenges.
Leadership and mentorship experience, capable of guiding technical teams to successful project delivery.
