Awesome Project Manager Wanted

In this role, you will lead and manage projects within our mid-size commercial and education division from start to finish. This includes handling tender interviews, issuing contracts, negotiating with subcontractors, and working with your site teams to ensure each project is delivered to the highest standards. Your focus will be on completing projects on time, within budget, with zero defects, and achieving a level of client satisfaction that you can be 100% proud of.What you will need:A good sense of humourA relevant tertiary or trade qualification7 years' experience in the NZ building environmentAwesome communication skillsThe ability to understand, monitor and ensure contractual obligations are met.A detailed understanding of relevant NZ legislation and industry compliance standardsAn excellent understanding of site safety planning and implementationAn ability to integrate into a high-performing team with an enviable record of successful deliveryThe ability to multitask at a number of levelsPass a pre-employment medical with drug testNZ resident or NZ work visaWhat we will provide:Competitive remuneration44 hour weekWork vehicle, phone, laptopUniform & PPESocial & encouraging team environmentOn-going training and supportOption to join the social clubAbout our company:Alexander Construction has been operating in Hawkes Bay for 75 years in the building and construction sector.
