The Fleet Services team is responsible for maintaining the milk collection fleet of over 500 units in safe and compliant condition to enable milk collection. The delivery of services requires the team to utilise processes and tools in a manner to achieve the best in business results.
About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi This is a fantastic opportunity with us on a secondment/fixed term contract until 1st August 2025 in our Reporoa workshop and plays an integral part within our Fleet Services Team as an Automotive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator.
While you'll predominately be office based using your computer skills to accurately manage inventory, create, and manage purchase orders, process warranty and repairable spares, you'll also be responsible for a range of tasks including pick/packing orders, cycle counting and reconciliation as well as inwards/outwards goods management in our automotive store.
About you | Ko wai koe To be successful in this role you'll need to be a quick learner and great communicator. You will be someone with the ability to self-manage yet is able to ask for help when they need it.
Key skills include: Experience in an inventory roleExperience in a workshop, warehouse or retail environment (Maintenance Repair Overhaul preferable)Ability to work well with little supervisionIntermediate to advanced computer skills (Experience with SAP and Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Word)OSH certified, forklift licence, and F endorsement (not essential but would be an advantage)Being part of Fonterra means being part of a unique history, realising the potential of dairy for generations to come, and solving for a better future together.
