We are looking for 3 Automotive Electricians. This job requires performing duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following:
Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions in vehicles using specialised testing equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain car reversing cameras, ensuring correct wiring and functionality.
Install and troubleshoot car stereo systems, including head units, speakers, and subwoofers.
Set up and calibrate in-vehicle monitors and screens for optimal viewing and integration with other vehicle systems.
Install and configure car amplifiers to enhance audio quality, ensuring proper power and ground connections.
Integrate multimedia systems, including Bluetooth, GPS, and other car entertainment systems, into vehicle electrical systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicle audio and video systems.
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, alternators, starter motors, and other electrical components.
Calibrate and test electronic systems, including entertainment and camera systems, to ensure proper operation.
Work with other automotive technicians to coordinate repairs and ensure vehicles are returned to service in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry standards, particularly in the field of automotive electronics and multimedia systems.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements: Applicants must meet the following requirements to apply for this job:
A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or above.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification requirement.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
Be a team player but also able to work independently.
