Ko te tima - About your team You will be a key member of the Atlas Team, which sits under Digital & Information Services. Atlas is an internal digital product at WorkSafe Mahi Haumaru which helps our kaimahi and the general public connect to ensure New Zealanders get home safe from work every day. We are an Agile product team that consists of designers, developers, change & communications managers, release managers, testers, technical leads, and a dedicated product owner. We care passionately about the work we do, and pride ourselves on delivering value back to the organisation and solving user-centric problems. We celebrate our successes and strive to always be learning, and to have fun while doing so.
O te turanga - About the role We have an opportunity for an experienced tester to join our team on a fixed term contract until 27 June 2025. The Automation and Functional Tester will be responsible for the delivery of functional testing and leading test automation across WorkSafe Mahi Haumaru's digital ecosystem.
Ko tou ake mahi - What You'll Do Document test cases, record defects, and record test case execution results
Lead the development and maintenance of automation test process and activities
Conduct both manual and automated tests as appropriate to ensure the solution meets needs and achieves business outcomes
Provide support and ongoing optimisation of solutions already in production
Ko nga pukenga ou - What You'll Bring Proven experience as a tester, particularly in writing test scripts and automated processes
Ability to recognise problems, analyse them, and solve them in a timely manner
Strong experience in creating, maintaining and improving test automation frameworks
A willingness to support the wider Digital and Information Services team with team plans and uplifting capability
