A little bit about the role:
We're looking for a Senior Application Specialist (Technical Business Analyst) to join our data platform teams with the purpose of supporting and enabling building the platform, value creation from data, and supporting compliance & regulatory requirements.

You will be a team player, the type of person who will help the team tackle any problems, will think outside of the box, and will help others when you see a roadblock. The team works in Agile and are looking for someone who rates themselves strong in that space.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Lead the Analysis and Design: Facilitate the conversations and workshops to define, design, estimate, and schedule the 'development' tasks required to deliver the required functionality.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for the squad, including facilitating workshops.
Translate business requirements into story maps, actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Comfortable leading conversations with engineers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders.
Develop functional and technical specifications, including data models, use cases, and workflows.

Who are you and what is your profile?
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, in an agile squad.
Experience in enterprise-sized businesses; an advantage would be financial services.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
Experienced in facilitating business and technical requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
Team Focused.
Strong knowledge and experience with Agile.
