Join Our Team as an Auto Electrician! Location: Christchurch, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $32 - $36 per hour 
About the Role:
We are seeking skilled Auto Electricians to support our manufacturing process. If you have experience in heavy vehicles like buses and trucks, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do: The Role Diagnosing and repairing electric vehicle systems, including battery systems, motors, and controllers Performing high voltage system testing and high voltage vehicle repairs Interpreting and applying information from technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Ensuring compliance with safety procedures when handling high voltage systems Checking, testing wiring and parts in the bus using portable instruments Finding faults using manufacturer's circuit diagrams Dismantling of electrical and electronic assemblies and components for the engineering department and assembly on modified chassis Repair and replacement of electronic systems such as engine management systems, air conditioning systems, ABS brakes, electronically controlled gearboxes, instrument panels and vehicle computers About You Proven work experience as an Electric Vehicle Technician or similar role. Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Experience with various hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in vehicle repair and maintenance. Understanding of electrical systems and familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
