About the Role
In this role you will be based in our NAPA Penrose branch with most of your time focused on developing new business in the area. As the main point of contact for our various trade customers, you will be responsible for managing accounts, seeking new business opportunities and finding ways of adding value to our customers businesses.
Specific duties include:
Ensuring the established customer base are receiving exceptional service and growing those relationships
Working with the Branch Manager on building new business in the area
Developing and maintaining a structured call cycle across the territory
Seeking ways to improve our offer and add value to our customers business
Working with our vendors to increase knowledge and gain market share
Helping develop and support the service offering within the branch to ensure our customers' expectations are exceeded.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will ideally have had experience in sales and/or account management experience and enjoy working towards KPI's and targets. A strong level of technical competency and understanding of the industry is very important.
Proven success previously in a sales and/or account management role and/or hands on experience within the industry
Strong customer service focus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss and relay technical information
Good time management
High work ethic and a determination to deliver team success
A desire to learn and ensure you are always up to date with the latest product information
