This role is based our Christchurch office and would suit someone who is looking to take on a dynamic senior role within our audit team.
Relationship management both internally and externally is a key part of working with Ashton Wheelans, as a business we work closely with our clients to build strong relationships in order to break away from the 'once per year' interaction and provide a value added service beyond mere compliance or assurance.
You will be working directly with the Audit Partners in charge on each job and be responsible for workflow planning, and client relationship management ensuring our audit calendar gets planned and delivered to on time and to a high quality.
Knowledge and Experience CA qualified and at least 2-3 years audit experience in a NZ based Chartered Accountancy firmA thorough understanding of Financial Reporting and Assurance standardsNot-for-Profit experience would also add value as we act for a number of these entitiesAn eye for detailExperience managing workflow and planning jobsHave exceptional communication and presentation skillsAble to have meaningful and engaging conversations with clients about their business, not just the numbers.Compliance and compilation experience will also be of value but not essential.The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, self-motivated and look forward to working as part of a high performing team.
They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and conduct themselves professionally.
