About the Role Our Hawke's Bay Audit team offers plenty of growth opportunities and the benefits of being a part of a small local team, whilst also being a part of a larger national network that collaborates and offers extensive training and development opportunities.
In this role, you will work with our clients as a primary point of contact throughout each audit process, some of which will require on-site visits throughout Hawkes Bay. Our team strives to promote a collaborative environment where we share technical knowledge and support each other within a positive and fun environment.
Key tasks include: Taking ownership and responsibility for the tasks and audits assigned to youCompleting audit workpapers to a high standard with minimal supervision in accordance with the Firm's methodologyDesigning audit approaches for non-complex assignmentsLiaising with clients and audit team members in a professional and clear mannerAbout You The successful candidate will demonstrate:
At least 2 years proven external financial audit experienceWorking towards or a CA qualification and experience working in a CA firmAwareness of legislation, GAAP and auditing standardsAn emphasis on quality, professionalism and client satisfactionBe a team player with excellent communication skillsProven ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced settingShow strong problem-solving skillsThe Audit Intermediate position is a full-time permanent role requiring a minimum commitment of 37.5 hours per week (worked between Monday – Friday). It is important to note that these hours may increase during peak periods.
The salary for the role ranges from $65,000 - $70,000 per annum depending on experience.
